Putting Compassion Into Practice

ph_AnnetteMcClain_325x250.jpgAnnette McClain   |  Annette has worked as the Volunteer Coordinator for Providence Hospice since 2017. After earning a communications degree, Annette has spent most of her career in non-for-profit organizations, and she's worked in the field of aging for almost 15 years, including several programs for the Area Agency on Aging.

She came to Providence because she was attracted to the mission. "My role at Providence allows me to encourage and raise up volunteers who can be the hands and feet of the Lord by caring for our hospice patients,” she says. “It is a privilege to do this work at Providence."

Annette describes her favorite part about working at Providence as, "the absolute joy of working alongside our awesome volunteers on a daily basis.” Her favorite event is the springtime tea party for our volunteers, where everyone who works separately during the year can come together.

Annette is always looking for more volunteers. Contact us to see how you can use your unique gifts to serve those in our program.
